1. About these terms
These terms apply to www.samanthaspurpose.org and the Samantha’s Purpose SMS messaging program operated by Samantha’s Purpose, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please use this website lawfully and provide accurate information when contacting us, registering, volunteering, or donating. Website use does not enroll you in text messaging.
2. Programs, events, and donations
Program eligibility, event participation, volunteer requirements, and availability are subject to the details provided for the particular activity. Registration or a request for assistance does not guarantee acceptance or funding. Any applicable fees, cancellation terms, and refund terms will be disclosed for the specific event or transaction. Contact us with donation or payment questions. Third-party registration and donation platforms also apply their own terms and privacy policies.
3. Samantha’s Purpose SMS messaging program
By providing your mobile number and separately opting in, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Samantha’s Purpose, Inc. at that number. Messages may include fundraising appeals, donation-drive announcements, event invitations and reminders, volunteer opportunities, and program updates, consistent with your consent. Messages may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply; contact your mobile carrier about your plan.
4. Voluntary consent
SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing, donating, registering, receiving assistance, or participating in our programs. SMS consent is separate from email subscriptions and acceptance of these terms. Providing a phone number alone does not constitute SMS marketing consent. Only enroll a number you own or are authorized to use.
5. Opt out and get help
Reply STOP to any program text to unsubscribe at any time. You may receive one final confirmation text; no further campaign messages will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, email info@samanthaspurpose.org, or call (786) 269-2929. You may also contact us to withdraw consent or report a changed or reassigned phone number. To rejoin, complete the SMS opt-in process again.
6. Delivery and availability
Text delivery depends on your carrier and network availability and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program is not an emergency service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the program, subject to applicable law and your consent.
7. Privacy and SMS consent data
Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices: Privacy Policy. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for their own use.
8. Website content and links
Our name, logo, and website materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Obtain permission before reproducing them beyond uses permitted by law. External links are provided for convenience; we do not control third-party websites. We strive for accurate information but cannot guarantee that all website content is always complete or current. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes and contact
Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date. Material changes to SMS message types or consent will require renewed consent where applicable.
